A post from a friend of mine, who will be posting on here now and again with reviews of the toys that he uses, or toys that may occasionally be sent out to him for honest reviews. This is a review of some Nipple Stix.
Here I am again with another review from MEO, a website that doesn’t pull their punches when it comes to bondage. In the past I have reviewed the spanker, cock ring, handcuffs and most recently the Doxy Diecast from them and the build quality and bondage-ability were fantastic. This time I have the deluxe Nip Stix to talk about.
Like curtain rails… for your nipples!
Material and Build Quality
The package arrived in a no-nonsense clear bag with the sticks inside. Each Nip Stix clip consists of two thin pieces of metal with a metal ball on each end. There are 6 rubber rings along the length of each Nip Stix, two are glued to the metal balls on each end and the other four can be arranged two on each side of where you nipple will go. I do not know what type of metal the Nip Stix are made of but I have been running under the assumption it is stainless steel as there are no signs of rust or tarnishing.
Each of the two clips can be pulled apart slightly to fit a nipple in between. As you will see below I have relatively small nipples and they fitted me fine and my partner has larger nipples and she was able to fit them to her nipples without too much discomfort. The difficult thing was fitting the nipple between the metal. It needed us to spread the metal and try and fit the nipple through which can be a bit fiddly – a little like trying to put a key on a keyring. What we did to make this easier was to pry the metal gently apart beforehand so it felt a little looser, but if you do try this be careful not to break it.
This is the lowest setting
Once attached you can adjust the torment by bringing the rubber rings closer together, which in turn closes the metal on either side of your nipple. I found the loosest setting was almost comfortable (but not quite) and it only became more painful from there… not that I was complaining. The clips feel great attached and as they are quite long and heavy they moved around as I moved creating a pulling sensation. The Nip Stix can also be tied together with small string or attached with a chain so they are quite versatile if you have the imagination.
Cleaning is a doddle, as the material is metal and rubber all that is needed is a wet wipe even with things like wax and lubricant. One thing I did make sure to do was to dry them afterwards. I have found no signs of rust even after a while of usage but with any metal it’s always better to pat dry afterwards.
The rubber toggles have been set to “pain”
I really enjoyed the Nip Stix and would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a budget clamp with a low pain setting. Also, they’re cheap – under £15 – but feel sturdy and well made. Ease of use is a very big draw to these clips and I definitely feel they enhanced my bondage experiences. The ability to adjust the pain setting is perfect for when I am domming or subbing as later on in the session I always want to up the pain and the adjustable setting allows you to control just how cruel you want to be.
