If you’ve never tried dual-density silicone, you really must give it a try. It’s a delight, a delicious treat for your orifices. A dual-density silicone dildo is a cock that is made from two pieces of silicone. It has a harder, more rigid core with an incredibly soft, squishy outside. This – for me, at least – is the best of both worlds. You see, I’m a huge fan of rigid dildos. Apparently, my vagina loves nothing more than squeezing something nice and hard; and then it came in contact with the dual-density silicone Uncut #1. From then on it was spoilt. This particular silicone is like a party for my vagina – it’s not just the party, it’s the bouncy castle. You know how much everyone loves a bouncy castle. Well, this is it! The bouncy castle dildo – it’s firm and almost unyielding, with just that bit of bounce to make it incredible.
The Tantus Flurry is a gorgeous little dildo, I love the colour combinations of it: the white mixed with the shades of blues. It’s made from dual-density silicone. It has an insertable length of 7 inches and a girth of 5 inches. This dildo is harness compatible (yay!) and also anal safe.
As I mentioned earlier, I was first introduced to the dual-density line by the Tantus Uncut #1 dildo. While there is some truth to that, it’s not the whole truth. In fact, my first dual-density dildo was the Tantus Cush. The instant I saw that dildo, I needed it. The problem was, that once I had it I couldn’t use it. I found that the Cush was far too big for me to use – with a girth of 5.75 inches around the top ridge, 5.5 inches around the second ridge/shaft and an insertable length of 7 Inches, I just found it a little bit too much. At the time that I purchased the Cush, I was a glass only woman. I’d never successfully been able to use any other material sex toy – well, one that got me off, anyways – but for some reason I really wanted that.
The first time I used the Cush, I realised that I just couldn’t handle it. I lathered it up with some lube. I got myself ready with a mixture of the We-Vibe Tango and an assortment of glass dildos and, no matter what I did, it wouldn’t budge. My vagina would not let it in. Feeling slightly defeated and extremely sad, I packed the Cush away and forgot about it. I know, I know, how on earth did I forget about it? I quite literally have no idea. The dildo is gorgeous. I didn’t remember that I owned a Cush until the Tantus Flurry shown up on my door step a couple of years later.
By the time I remembered that I owned a Cush, my vagina and I were well versed with sex toys that were made from something other than glass. I’d managed to use various different sex toys – some the same girth and others larger than the Cush – so I was pretty damn confident that my vagina would now permit it entry when I pulled it out of its storage bag ready to use.
This time, instead of using various other glass dildos as a warm up, the OH used the Flurry on me and, my God, did it feel spectacular. Using a small amount of water-based lubricant, it penetrated me easily. Although the shaft of the Flurry isn’t curved, the ridge still manages to hit my G-Spot. I’m a huge fan of the shape of this dildo, although I do enjoy curved dildos. Most of my go-to favourite dildos have been ones that had a straight shaft, so this was perfect for me. I found that I didn’t need much lubricant to use this, at all – which was great.
The shaft feels incredible which, honestly, was something I found surprising. Generally, I like a bit of texture on a dildo, so I didn’t really know what to expect with this since there isn’t really any texture (unless you count the ridge on the head). But the shaft is straight and I know I like that. I had mixed feelings on what I thought it would feel like. Taking the plunge (so to speak) I found that I loved this dildo: the smoothness inside me, paired with the spongy feeling I’d get when my vagina muscles clamped down around this dildo, felt remarkable.
My partner was able to really go to town with this dildo. I like hard, fast thrusts and due to the straight shaft, this was incredibly easy for my partner to achieve. It wasn’t long before we came to the conclusion that the Flurry was the perfect starter dildo to the Cush. Shortly after my partner started using the Flurry on me, I was more than ready for something with a little more girth. The Cush ticked all the boxes that I needed and I was more than prepped enough to use it. On this occasion, with my partner wielding the dildo and my body ready, I had no problems inserting the Cush.
From the moment the Cush entered me, everything was right. The fullness I wanted had been achieved. Although the Cush has a straight shaft, it was still able to massage my G-Spot with precision, due to the ridge at the tip. And, unlike the Flurry, there is a small amount of texture on the shaft that feels absolutely fantastic, massaging me internally.
The Flurry, although fabulous, didn’t prepare me for how unbelievably amazing the Cush is. The Flurry is the
perfect warmup toy. The feel of the Flurry is amazing and I don’t need to use a truck load of lube on it. Although there isn’t really much texture to the Flurry, the ridge on the shaft is highly accommodating of my needs. But the Cush, the Cush is perfection; the straight, girthy and beautifully textured shaft provides me with everything I need – almost everything about it is perfect. Of course, like any relationship, it has its flaws: it’s a lint magnet and if I don’t thoroughly warm up then my vagina will refuse to allow it entry. But that’s OK, because the Flurry is here, and together they make the perfect dildo tag-team.
Both of these dildos are amazing. If you’re not into size, then the Flurry could be perfect for you. If, like me, you do need the fuller feeling, then the Cush could be ideal. Or hell, you could just have both – all you need is a clitoral stimulator and you’re in for a treat.
This Tantus Flurry was sent to me in exchange for an honest review, all opinions are my own. Affiliate links have been used within this post. Unfortunately I was unable to locate my Cush to take pictures, however I have purchased another one as I need it in my life.
